Experimental ambient psychedelic noise music, made by and for people who do not exist. This album in particular was inspired in part through work with the plant Salvia Divinorum and esoteric/occult philosophy.

One of the best horror novels I've read in a long time, this book constantly subverted my expectations and kept going in unexpected directions. Dealing with the effects of intergenerational trauma, substance abuse, racism, and environmentalism while also seeing the resilience of familial/friendship bonds, community ties and tradition, this is not a horror book to be missed.

As much a guide for living as it is for dying, this is an important and seminal work, not to be missed by anyone interested in esoterica. I personally believe the bardo is a state of mind we can slip in and out of at any time during this dream we call "existence." This will help you to navigate it.

A classic cult text from the sixties, this is a guide to the psychedelic use, based on the Tibetan Book of the Dead. Much like the Tibetan Book of the Dead, I again find that this contains good advice for living in general, for what is life if not the ultimate psychedelic experience?

One of my favorite books of all time, an anarchist tale of love revolving around fire, the moon, menstruation, aliens, typewriters, red hair, and cigarettes, this book had me laughing out loud and weeping with joy on multiple occasions. “People are never perfect, but love can be.”

Ursula K. Le Guin delivers a simple, but riveting and profound tale of a man whose dreams can affect and alter reality. While this may be a short read, this sci fi novella that packs more into under 200 pages than entire series can usually accomplish in 12 volumes. Mind-blowing and brilliant.

“Truth has no path, and that is the beauty of truth, it is living. A dead thing has a path to it because it is static, but when you see that the truth is something living, moving, which has no resting place, which is in no temple, mosque or church, which no religion, no teacher, no philosopher, nobody can lead you to - then you will also see that this living thing is what you actually are.”
