A message from The Doylestown and Lahaska Bookshops

Dear Bookshop Customers,

Beginning at 8:00 pm this evening 3/19/2020, we will be following Governor Wolf’s order to completely close as a non-essential business. This means we will no longer be offering home delivery, curbside pick-up or fulfillment of any online orders while our store remains temporarily closed.

Over the past 21 years, the Doylestown Bookshop's doors have been open to our community. Through snowstorms and Hurricane Sandy, we were usually able to stay open offering a safe place for people to gather, share stories and discover new books. We look forward to the day when we can once again serve you in this way.

We are grateful for all your support these past few days. You have truly touched our hearts. We will continue to keep you informed through updates on social media and our email newsletter, letting you know as soon as we are able to once again open our doors. In the meantime, please stay safe and healthy. I hope you can use this time to discover new joys and maybe read a good book!

The staff and I look forward to seeing you all again at the bookshops!

Glenda Childs
