Mystery Writers Panel

Come join us for a panel of mystery writers including Anette Dashofy, Jenny Milchman, Matthew Quinn Martin, John Dixon and Wendy Tyson on Saturday, November 1st at 2:30pm!

Annette Dashofy has spent her entire life in rural Pennsylvania surrounded by cattle and horses. When she wasn’t roaming the family’s farm or playing in the barn, she could be found reading or writing.

Jenny Milchman is a suspense writer from the Hudson Valley of New York State, who lived for seven months on the road with her family on what Shelf Awareness called "the world's longest book tour." Jenny's debut novel, "Cover of Snow," was published by Ballantine/Penguin Random House in January 2013, earned starred reviews from Publishers Weekly and Booklist, as well as praise from the New York Times, San Francisco Journal of Books, the AP, and many other publications. It was an Indie Next and Target pick, won the Mary Higgins Clark Award for best suspense novel of 2013, and has also been nominated for the Macavity and Barry Awards for best first novel. "Ruin Falls," Jenny's second novel, also an Indie Next Pick, was published by Ballantine in April 2014 to starred reviews from Booklist and Library Journal. Jenny is Vice President of Author Programming for International Thriller Writers, and the founder of Take Your Child to a Bookstore Day, which was celebrated by over 700 bookstores in all 50 states and four foreign countries last year.
Born in Allentown, Pennsylvania and raised in New Haven, Connecticut, it wasn’t until Matthew moved to Manhattan that he realized he was a writer. These days, he lives on a small island off the North Atlantic coast of the United States where it gets quiet in the winter…perhaps too quiet. . .
John Dixon’s debut novel, "Phoenix Island," inspired the CBS TV series Intelligence. A former boxer, teacher, and stone mason, he lives in West Chester, PA, with his wife, Christina, and their freeloading pets. When not reading or writing, he obsesses over boxing, chess, and hot peppers.
Wendy Tyson's background in law and psychology has provided inspiration for her mysteries and thrillers. Wendy lives near Philadelphia with her husband, three sons and two muses, Labs Molly and Driggs. Killer Image (Henery Press, October 1, 2013) is Wendy’s first novel in the Allison Campbell mystery series. Her mystery The Seduction of Miriam Cross was published this fall and is also the first in a series.
