First Friday Book Signing with Marie Lamba

Meet young adult author Marie Lamba, who will be at the Doylestown Bookshop on Friday, August 5th to sign copies of her new book, Over My Head, the follow up novel to her first book, What I Meant. . .

Over My Head - It's been two years since we last saw CB West student Sang Jumnal in Lamba's hilarious debut novel What I Meant…. Now Sang jumps into the summer before her senior year with big plans. But she didn’t plan on facing her fear of swimming through a series of humiliating kiddy lessons at Fanny Chapman Swimming Pool. Or falling hard for 20-year-old lifeguard Cameron Cerulli. Or fighting with her dad, who bans her from seeing Cameron. Or discovering a huge secret her parents have been keeping about disappearing money.

Suddenly Sang’s summer is overflowing with excitement and drama. And she’s teetering on the dangerous brink of true love. Will she sink or swim?

Over My Head is a steamy summertime novel filled with sticky situations and a twist that will melt your heart.

Marie lives in Doylestown with her husband, two daughters and one rather too interesting poodle.
