Lahaska: "Persistence of Memory" with acclaimed author/illustrator David Wiesner

The Bucks County Illustrators Society and the Lahaska Bookshop present Award-Winning Children’s Book Illustrator David Wiesner Thursday, April 4 at 7:00 PM for a special presentation and book signing.

David Wiesner, author and illustrator of Tuesday, The Three Pigs and Flotsam, is a three-time winner of the Caldecott Medal, which recognizes distinguished American picture books for children. His presentation is entitled "The Persistence of Memory" and it looks at the way childhood images and ideas have made deep impressions on him. He traces how he used these childhood images as a creative outlet in the books that he writes and illustrated.

After his presentation, he will sign any of his books purchased that evening.

This event is free and open to the public, but we do ask that you RSVP below.
