Event Guidelines

The Doylestown Bookshop is proud to host the newest and best authors and illustrators in the industry. All events are free and open to the public, unless otherwise stated.

To get a book signed, we ask that the book be purchased from The Doylestown Bookshop. By purchasing a book from us, you are not only supporting a local, independent business, but you are also showing publishers that they should continue sending authors to The Doylestown Bookshop.

For events where we expect large crowds, we may give ticket holders wrist bands. Wristbands will be given upon your arrival to the event with your ticket and hold you place at that particular event.

Occasionally The Doylestown Bookshop will sell tickets for special events. This allows us to keep track of the number of seats we'll need and cover extra costs we incur with large or special events. If tickets are required for an event, we will include information in that event's specific page found on our website calendar of events.

If you cannot attend a particular event, but would still like to have a book signed, please call our store (215-230-7610) or order at www.doylestownbookshop.com (Be sure to add the name of the person to whom the book is to be signed in the order comments). If you purchase a book online, we will have the book signed and set aside specifically for you. This service is free of charge and available for most of our events unless otherwise stated.
