Staff Reviews

This book is great whether you're interested in history or not. It switches between Henry Lee's past experiences with losing a loved one to the Japanese internment camps in the 40's and his adult life as he still struggles to move on. The 'Bitter and Sweet' in the title perfectly describes the mix of sadness and beauty in this story.
