I got to read this before it's publication date, because I couldn't wait. And it did not disappoint. An incredibly satisfying ending to a terrific series. It's like Avatar the Last Airbender meets The Hunger Games and The Mortal Instruments. I can't wait to see what Leigh Bardugo does next.

A girl commits suicide and 5 of classmates are being tried for murder. This is not an easy book to read. There are a lot of mean people doing a lot of mean things, but I still needed to know what was going to happen. Every once in a while you get a glimpse of some of the reasons people turn into bullies, and it offers a glimmer of understanding.

This series just gets better with every book. The first series by Suzanne Collins (The Hunger Games) and, in my opinion, her best. This series enthralled me as a kid and I still love it today. It's an urban, modern, Alice in Wonderland.

This book is utterly crazy and totally down to earth at the same time. Giant praying mantisses are taking over, and a boy is struggling with his feelings over his two best friends. Amazing.

The second play in Martin McDonagh’s dramatic trilogy, it is a wildly funny and gruesome portrayal of an Irish terrorist who is numb to the feelings of his victims, but yet completely attached to and sentimental about his pet cat.
