The best aspect of this book is that it is realistic and thrilling at the same time. If you read nonfiction cold war espionage stories, you find that stuff like this actually did happen. Le Carre gives you a look at the actual workings of spycraft and the techniques that were used during the cold war.The book as usual was much better than the movie with less time spent on unneeded scenes.

After purchasing a large collection of Dickens's work I was determined to finish it from cover to cover. The work that stood out the most was this. The piece although one of his first was filled with excitement as you felt yourself wanting to continue on constantly. A must read for anyone who values good literature.
