This is a free event, but space is limited and we ask that you to register in advance.

Come join us for an inspiring, welcoming and pleasurable guided writing circle led by Doris Ferleger, Ph.D. 2009 Poet Laureate of Montgomery County. Enter new and forgotten inner chambers and landscapes, voices and feelings. Be inspired by poems, prose, music, and each other. Learn new ways to spark your inner writer and quiet your inner critic. Writing circle provides a time and space to hone our human gifts of interconnection, contemplation, imagination, exploration and creation. Give yourself the gift of time for spontaneous writing, optional sharing, and respectful deep listening to one another.

No formal writing experience is necessary. The group is open to anyone willing to write in the company of others.

The Writing Circle will be followed by an open microphone.
