Collaborating with her grandmother for the three years it took to make this cookbook was one of the best experiences of Carrie Gamble's life. She has had the unique opportunity of traveling throughout the country while promoting this publication, appearing on radio and television shows and in newspapers across the country. Her grandmother, Elizabeth, set a great example as a person who lived a relatively humble life, but was so rich in spirit because of the joy she felt in doing for others. Carrie's hope is that those who read and use the recipes from Grandmother's Cookbook will find the same joy within themselves.
